Combofix freaking out

I am running combofix right now. I followed the instructions at the top of the forum and downloaded the program. WHen it ran it said there was a new version so I updated the app and now it's running. It's been going for about an hour and now i'm worried I haev the screwed up version. I got past the "Preparing log report" screen but now I have a blank screen except for an hour glass.

Please assure me wouldn't have downloaded the screwed up version.

EDIT: I should note this is today I did this.

 

Just an update - it is still running after 2 hours. I'm really starting to get scared. At one point after about 20 minutes it asked me to reboot which I did. It then started up again and appeared to log me out as I had to click my user name to get back in. Now it's still at a blank screen with the hour glass. Is this normal?

I'm so scared I just destroyed my parents computer.
