    Hello...!

I got some silly thing (errr well I am not clear on the proper terminology) that redirects the supplied links, when I click on them, after I google. Anyways, I searched for the IP address to which it initially redirects and saw that others had experienced the same problem. I began following the recommended steps, starting with the "READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide." My computer seems to have frozen while using combofix after completing stage 47. The cursor is still blinking, but it's been close to an hour. What should I do? CTRL+ALT+DELETE, or just power-off? I don't have my things backed-up (terrible, I know) and I have heard that it can really ruin your computer. I'm nervous.

    thank you so much
    Kate
