ComboFix is stuck

I've been following all of the steps for removing malware and am in the XP Cleaning procedure.... at combofix.

it completed stage 50 on the install and deleted the following files:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\inst.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\vinnyk\g2mdlhlpx.exe
C:\Program files\HP\iam\bin\brand.dll
c:\windows\system32\inf\walldata.inf

and then said deleting folders:

C:\windows\system32\inf

I got a popup saying that windows stopped a process to protect my computer.

Now, I am stuck at what looks like the old dos screen and no activity.

Do I power down the machine and try to recover or wait for something to happen...

If I have to restart, how do I continue with combo fix or recover... I have no idea what combofix does.

Cancelled out and restarted my computer, moving on with the other cleaning steps.

Things seem to look ok for now.
