ComboFix Issue...

I am in the middle of the multi-step malware-removal process. I am at the point of running ComboFix. I ran SAS and MalWareBytes without issue and I have the logs saved. I downloaded ComboFix yesterday and the icon was on my desktop. I went to run it today and it's not there anymore. I went to download it again and it gets to 99% and then said the pgm couldn't be copied and access is denied... make sure the disk isn't full or write protected or that ComboFix wasn't running. I've tried a few different download locations, won't download 100%. Any clues? I feel like I am very close to being done with this... the computer is acting better already but I want to complete it. Thank you.

 

Tim: Thanks for the reply. I ended up going around ComboFix and everything seems to be okay. I used a combination of Ccleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes and MGTools and I think I'm out of the woods. I thought it might also be something sinister blocking my download of ComboFix... but all seems okay. Thanks again, I truly appreciate the help I received from this site along with bleepingcomputer.com.
