   Hi All!
   
   I am following the step by step "Vista cleaning " directions on this site as I have on other machines before this one.
   
   For some reason, Combofix will not run on this Vista machine, even though it is a 32bit system. I get the "incompatible operating system" error.
   
   Can anyone suggest a solution?

   Try running it in safe boot mode. If that does not work then just skip ComboFix.
