Combofix removal

    I happened to see TimW's post telling a person to remove Combofix after everything was ok.
    I had it installed (with advice from another forum) and tried to delete it, but cannot.
    Is it ok to leave it, or how may I remove it?

    You should really have asked at the forum you were working with. I do not know if you had combofix renamed or where you may have had it running from (some run it from the wrong location) So just try this:

    Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required

    Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.

    This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.

    Sorry about that.
    Your fix didn't work, but I Googled solution and that did.
    When I originally installed it, the other forum never told me I had to remove it after use.
