ComboFix - Unable to find batch label

I completed the Malware Removal steps up to the ComboFix. The ComboFix launches and has been at the following line for 50 mins: The system cannot find the batch label specified - Check_Ha1.
The cursor is blinking at the left hand side and it appears to have one blank line between it and the previous message. Not sure if it is still running or if it stopped because it needs the batch label/file Check_Ha1. The hard drive is not flashing so it does not appear to be scanning the drive. The CPU usage is staying between 4% and 10%.
Do you think it will complete? Not sure if it will cause harm to the system if I attempt to exit or close the screen.:confused

 

Tim thank you for your response. Because I was working on a computer at a remote location I had to move forward before I received your reply. I was able to get out of the ComboFix by typing exit in the ComboFix (DOS) screen. I made sure that there were no active processes for it and then deleted the folder that it created on the local C drive.
Once it was gone I reverted to an older version of ComboFix (12-29-2008) and it ran successfully. I then completed the reset of your steps and system is now virus free. It appears that the copy downloaded on 2-26-2009 may have been corrupted - not infected or harmful but just a bad download. :cool
