Combofix won't run, mgtools won't run...etc

Ok, have several problems on a friend's computer. Rundll32.exe is gone. Checked the system32 folder, most of the stuff is gone - even notepad is gone. System was badly infected with a virus, too badly to run system on its own, so I slaved it and scanned /w AVG. Found over 600 infected files, 2 viruses (neglected to jot down the names, whoops). Got system so I can actually DO something, instead if it freezing when explorer starts. Combofix runs for a second (green bar scrolls across then the program quits). MG tools won't run. System won't run batch files "Windows can't find getlogs.bat". Can't find my XP cd, and this system is a AMD K6 HP, and the restore partition got corrupted by the virus. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, and when I try to install superantispyware, I get "can't find msiexec". Just updated to SP2 (which sorta hung for an hour at "cleaning up after install" until I manually turned it off)

 

That's what I figured...ended up eventually just reinstalling it (Thankfully HP actually put the windows key on the side of the machine).
