combofix wont run

    Hello,
    I am running threw the malware read me 1'st and am stuck on combo fix step.
    I am getting a message when it starts to load :
    "This file dose not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Creat an association in the folder options control panel."
    This is in an error window with "327882r2f2fwjf\nircmd.com" for a title.


    I have removed it and re-downloaded it and still same issue. How can i get it to work?

    Please go here http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm and run the fix titled:

    COM File Association Fix (Restore the default associations for COM files) - Thanks to John Hanney

    Then retry ComboFix. If it still does not work, then answer the below questions.
    1. Did you save ComboFix to your Desktop as requested?
    2. Are you running it exactly as requested with the /Killall option from the Start, Run box?
    3. Have you tried running ComboFix in safe boot mode? If not, please try it.
