I am installing comcast on a clients pc , I have them used to AVG(they even do the updates regularly :) ) and it seems that Mccaffee is bundled with there installware is there a way to change this??(or is it even a good idea)
I just do not look forward to the calls as soon as some new popup hits them.
Any experiences should i keep or throw??

well i can tell you their is an advanced user instal opion when you run the disk, now ive been useing mcafee foe the past 2 years and the zone alarm fire wall and ive not had one single virus or spyware or any thing like that so....knock on wood... i wish i could be of more help but if you choose to use the advanced user install you can choose what you want in stalled, but i would just install it all b/c it real kneeds all of it to funciton correctly....well hope that helps bye

    Comcast???!!!

Okay, why install anything from comcast on that computer?

I use comcast, and I don't have anything from it installed on my computer.

BTW, there is also no need to install SBC DSL junk on DSL boxes either.....
