Command Prompt On Windows 98

Hi iam trying to locate a product key on an Old IBM Aptiva pc, however when it now reboots it now asks for the product key everytime, how do i get to the command prompt from booting up, ive been given this fix

C:\Windows\Command\Find /I "ProductKey" C:\Windows\System.dat

this apparantly works on windows 98 and ME but iam struggling to find the command prompt ive pressed delete and it gives me start up options etc

any help would be appreciated!

Launch windows, and click Start --> Accessories --> MS-DOS Prompt

 

Hi mada thanks for the advice, however i cant get into the desktop to go to start, it was everytime turned on the pc it came up Enter Product key!
so i need the c: to enter the fix but dont know how to do it from from boot mode! but anyhow i did manage to get the product key from a website but now when we enter the password at theusername screen i get the following error :- Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module.explorer.EXE AT013F"00401f31.


the probelm only started when my brother was downloading using shareaza and the system completely froze, so he turned it off and when he tried to turn it on this is when it was asking for the product key, but as i say ive bypassed that now and i have the error above, i was thinking it could be virus when he was downloading,
