Hi Major Attitude, You authored "Basic computer maintenance everyone should do"

To make the Startup items section of "Basic computer maintenance everyone should do" more friendly to those of us who don't know much about computers, perhaps add a link to Paul Collins' Startup Applications List (http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php) as in

"Be careful, there is no backup, so either look up the program on Google, Paul Collins' Startup Applications List, or ask on our forums if you want to know what an item is for."

It made a big difference in my ability to remove Startup items on my own.

Hi Major. My desktop used to take about five minites and more to boot up. I then used Paul Collins' Startup Applications List in conjunction with the Basic computer maintenance everyone should do instructions "CCleaner also has a startup manager. Click tools, then startup. You can delete any unneeded items from there." I addressed each item in my CCleaner startup manager by entering it at Paul Collins' Startup Applications. I disabled about 70% of my startup items (mostly items I had no use for from years of never looking at what was in my startup items) and I was able to bring down my start up time to a normal time. I'm a huge fan of MajorGeeks. Thanks for starting it and keep up the good work.
