Commercials at movies in theatres

I'm just sick of the commercials they play before a movie when I go to the theatre. I've decided that I'll never buy anything that is advertised before a movie (at the theatre)... ...Gawd I hope they don't start advertising my fave. brands of Scotch before each movie. -If they do I'll just have to switch to CDN. whisky -or even Irish whisky (yikes).

if the movie says 9:30. I get there at 9:40 to get the tickets ( i almost never get to go opening night so there is time) so I can avoid the commercials.

 

That is really annoying. I hate going to the theatre because of that and other things. I time how long it takes before the movies actually play's. I think I timed over 12 minutes one night. It's so annoying.

 

Yup, now you pay to watch commercials. It's no good waiting for the video, they put them on that too. What about dvds?

 

dvds if they have them u can just skip that chapter, though i am yet to buy a dvd with those in them.

Not that this has anything to do with commercials at movies, but... I'm going tomorrow night to see a preview of "Surviving Christmas". My friend Bethany is writing a review of it for our friend's website and she's taking me along for my birthday. Then I'm going to see "The Final Cut" on Tuesday with a bunch of the girls.

 

Since I usually go to the theater with a friend or two, commercials are simply time to chat and ignore them. No biggie.

 

last one i timed was 20 minutes...rediculous.
