COMODO BOClean "Error 106"

    COMODO BOClean has suddenly begun to issue an "Error 106: Unable to connect, check connection or firewall settings" during manual updates. Neither of those issues, however, is at fault. As an attempted fix I completely removed the slightly dated version that I was using and installed the very latest version only to receive the same "Error 106" message. Any Ideas? Thanks for your time.

    Error 106: Means that a firewall program is blocking the connection *OR* your Internet Explorer is in OFFLINE mode - run IE and CONNECT.

    What firewall do you have installed?

    Chaslang, Comodo is listed on my Windows firewall's exceptions list so that can't be the problem and I haven't been on an offline mode. Recently I've been able to get through but the update hangs on "Checking for update..." I'm led to believe that the problem is unrelated to my computer.

    Chaslang, the latest attempt was successful. I suspect that COMODO's updating service had been experiencing a minor problem that has now been corrected. I give them overall high grades, however, for their exceptionally frequent updates and the ease of use of their product. Thanks for responding to my post.
