So I reformated my PC to vista, used a OEM disk I had. I installed Avira Antivirus and Comodo firewall. I usually used ESET SmartSecurit but I decided to use Comodo for a change. Well I immediatly notice SVCHost is doing alot of connecting and I dont know what to so I block it and my internet stops working so I know that it involves my DNS but when I open up Google Chrome I see that the firewall pics up around 50 outgoing connections made. Is this normal? Right now I am using IE8 and there is about 23 connections made in the beginning and now there are 0.

I guess im just looking for a yes this is normal, or no this is not normal. This is a fresh reformat and all i can think of is my uncle gave me a bad Vista OEM disk.

Moved your thread to a more appropriate forum as I doubt you are having malware issues.
