I have a comp at home that will boot up in normal mode, stay up for about 2 minutes and then shuts down. In safe mode it will boot up and continue to run. If I run it in diagnostic startup and boot up with all the startup items unchecked and all the services unchecked, it will continue to run. If I check all the startup items and uncheck all the services, it will run, so it seems to be a service. The video card works. The processor is cool.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this regular shutdown at approximately 2 minutes after bootup? I checked it with MalwareBytes and Nod32 and didn't find anything. I will go through the services and see if it could be one of these.

    Thanks.

    We got it straightened out.

Bandwidth Meter was installed and it has an effect on one of the services, either DHCP Client or DNS Client in the Services list.
