   When ever I try to open any file, a box shows up saying unable to locate, or the Open With box shows up. I'm really only able to open firefox and use it. When I try to download anything (I tried downloading an anti virus) it will go to the dispose box, then when I try to run it from there, it says application not found.

   You need to give way more info before anyone attempts to help.
   Make and model of computer
   Version of Windows running, including the Service Pack
   When did the problem start
   What have you tried if anything to fix it (changing file associations, system restore, last known good configuration)
