Comp with lots problems-HELP PLZ

    Hi there,

    It's been a long while since i logged in on 2007 when u guys helped me to solved my problem.

    Now I've a BIG PROBLEM with my PC,I think is because of having the firewall turned off recently.
    The problems are that it can't appear task manager, folder option and RUN icon in Start Menu. Also when i click Command Icon to run it'll appear a message saying 'This PC will shut down'...try to run in Safe Mode but couldn't get thru it.Install the ATF Cleaner from external disk to the PC..the program stop running.

    I don't know what's the problem of the PC but i'm desperatly need the solution. Please guide me step by step for the logs..
    I'm real rusty with the programs :cry

    I know that i have to post a log file..but i couldn't run anything.
    Try to run CCleaner also wouldn't work.My add/remove icon also disappear from control panel.
    Last resort i think is to re-format my PC
    Hope someone have any idea how to 'kill' the virus

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    Notes:


    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    If you cannot run anything and really attempt to run all programs using the suggestions given, then you are facing a format and reinstall so make sure you really try everything.
