Comp won't let my brother on certain sites

    Dear Forum,

    My bro is experiencing difficulties with his PC not letting him on certain sites, he is using IE7 and he's also having trouble accessing getting his hotmail and several other sites, he can get on facebook and google etc.

    Hope you can help me resolve this :)

    We need the operating system and service pack #, any recent updates or installs that might have triggered the problem, and any pertinent hardware information.

    How does he access the internet? Has he tried resetting any modems and/or routers? Has he tried a different browser? Has he run a cleaning program, dumping any temporary internet files?
