company of heros : Nat negotiation Failure

Hi all i was woundering if theres anyway of fixing the rapidly occuring problem of this error of "Nat Negotiation failure" it occures everytime i try to join an online game i have checked these things

Router firewall is off
Firewall isnt blocking the game for entering online


I have a bt home hub wireless


Please help!!

p.s. i do not no how to forward ports so please exsplain if this is the way if not please describe in detail how to fix this problem!

 

Knowing your operating system and firewall would give us a starting point.

I can only imagine the frustration of constantly being kicked out of the game, but we need to know way way more about your set-up and specs before we can get constructive.

 

my specs our :

Mircrosoft xp , Professional (version 2002) service pack 3

i have a intel core duo E7300 Cpu And have 4 gigs of ram and i am wifi connected

and my firewall is Avira Antivir Personal and also with it a Outpost firewall

 

Okay, let's get the basics over with first. Uninstall and reinstall the game. Double-check that your firewall allows your game to connect, and try playing with the software firewall off to see if that makes a difference.

Are any other applications disconnecting at random, or only this one game?
