compaq evo d500 riser card - can't boot-up

    Greetings fellow "geeks",

    I know there is a way to bypass, troubleshoot, fix or whatever it takes for my computer to boot up. I don't have the "riser card" on my motherboard and when i try to load windows 2000 it tells me that it's missing and i can't get past that point. So, looking at other threads, I have faith in my fellow members to help me out. Please and Thank You.;)
