Compaq V5000 LCD blacklight problem

    Hi. My Compaq Prezsario V5000 LCD baclklight is turned off. I can see logo and images but the blacklight is tuened off. I guess that lid switch could be responsible but I can't find it. Where is the switch located in V5000. I read and read computers maintenance manual and can't find it. Any suggestions????

    The back light could have gone out in your laptop.

    Is it still under warranty?

    No warranty :(. Yes it could be blacklight too but I will take lid switch chance
