Compatibility of RAM

How do i find what type of RAM my PC has? i want to buy more and need to make sure its compatible. i only have 1gb now and its killing me.

Ive just found a cheaper one but one thing is different the scan says i can use DDR 2 which this is but it also has SDRAM next to it does that make any difference?

Yep DDR2 RAM does usually say DDR2 SD RAM on the label or whatever..just make sure you have scanned on crucial and it's all compatible

In terms of how easy is it to fit your RAM it depends on your laptop or PC model. Most manufacturers will have clear guides on how to change your computer's RAM available on their website.

Speaking from personal experience it's relatively easy to do even if your a computer novice and it doesn't take too much time to switch the RAM modules. The best advice I could give is to find the guide for your computer model. Also try and see if you can find a Youtube video which demonstrates visually how to do it as this will help.
