Some TV's becoming kinda like those nightmare gameshows you saw in the eighties that were a joke back then back then,I laughed at climbing for dollars that TV advert on Running Man when the guy had to climb a rope and collect dollars and if he fell he'd land on a pack of dogs but that seems pretty tame compared to what some the jackass immitators are doing these days

I can imagine it wont be long before people will be risking thier lives or very extreme injury on live TV like in running Man

So much great TV to look forward to rolleyes

 

That is a disgrace IMO! These people are animals, This should be stopped.

 

this is just another money making venture what happen is viewers are encouraged to text in and give comments but what they don't make so obvious is that it is usually quite expensive I.E. 1 or 2 Euro's per text and a big % goes to the station (just another rip off)

we have a lot of these here the Big Brother thing here in Belgium is now with all glass interior and is billed as Nowhere to hide it is running out of steam so they have to dream up more and more stupid scenarios to try to pull in the gullible viewers. :kissmy

Heard this on the radio this morning, initially found it funny and now looking just think...why?

 

Anything for a quick buck, all at the price of our sanities. And to pander to all the idiots who have ADD or ADHD, who have the attention spans of rutabagas, and can only pay attention for about 12 seconds of sensationalism and stupidity before something else holds their attention for another 12 seconds.

 

And I thought the low was reached with shows where people eat nasty, gross crap for the chance to win a few thousand dollars . . . rolleyes

Turns out its was a hoax!

The dying woman was an actress but the three kidney recipients were real and in on it,it was designed to raise awareness for organ donation

 

Just saw it on MSNBC. She is an actress and the recipients were not duped.
