Computer Accessed Remotely?????? Help!

    Hi, I was on my laptop pc for a few hours last night when a message popped up on the lower right of my screen that said someone logged on. I was like whatt??? So I looked online and found some info on how to look for a login attempt and got the following info that I would like someone to look at to tell me if my computer has been compromised, and if someone now has access what can I do to protect myself and personal info.     This event is generated when a logon session is created. It is generated on the computer that was accessed.

    The subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.

    The logon type field indicates the kind of logon that occurred. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).

    The New Logon fields indicate the account for whom the new logon was created, i.e. the account that was logged on.

    The network fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases.

    The impersonation level field indicates the extent to which a process in the logon session can impersonate.

    The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request.
    - Logon GUID is a unique identifier that can be used to correlate this event with a KDC event.
    - Transited services indicate which intermediate services have participated in this logon request.
    - Package name indicates which sub-protocol was used among the NTLM protocols.
    - Key length indicates the length of the generated session key. This will be 0 if no session key was requested.

    Hi thanks for the reply. I'm just a little confused because I think it's an access issue and not malware. I ran spybot and malwarebytes when it happened and there was nothing. I wanted to know what to look for or how to know if someone has remotely accessed and logged in and how I can block that and stengthen the security so that this never happens. Your thoughts....

    There is nothing wrong in the Event Viewer log you attached. This will be seen on any PC.

    So you can run the READ & RUN ME FIRST cleaning procedure so that we can check for any malware issues including possible remote connection software being installed. Otherwise you can just disable remote desktop connections to your PC and post in the Software Forum for help with this or other Windows/non-malware issues. ;)
