your USB plugs in the front are a part of the case, not the Motherboard. You can buy any case that has USB ports in front, as long as you can match up the front USB wires from the case, to the proper ports on the mobo.

As for what will fit, you could simply buy a monster-big case and it would definately fit. Personally, I believe Compaq's Presario Series uses all Mid-ATX and/or Micro-ATX mobos. When shopping for a case, just make suire it says "mid-atx" and "micro-atx" compatible, and you should be fine.

Transferring a mobo to a new case is quite a job though. You should have all the mobo and case documentation handy so you can properly place all front port headers (power button, reset button, USB ports) and avoiding an hours' long trial and error session (which is what I did with my last case :( )
Since you bought a prebuilt, you also have to make sure that your mobo's slots are in the same place as a normal ATX case (by this I really mean PCI/AGP slots) and you have to take the back I/O plate, since that is custom to every mobo (back USB/Ethernet ports, Parellel ports, PS/2). Good luck man.

Beware, lots of the Compaq stuff used to be proprietary.
As mentioned in an earlier post, if your compaq presario 6350ca has an ATX motherboard you should be ok.
It is probably going to be a lot of work if you don't tie ID tags on EVERY lead and cable in your current PC, BEFORE you disconnect them.

Identify, and tag, your power-on LED lead, your reboot lead, etc., before you disconnect them.

This will speed up the exercise dramatically and lead to less ulcers. Bazza

Don't most cables have labels on already that say what to connect it to? I know mine do...

Been a long time since I built a desktop. I prefer laptops.;) Things sound like they have improved. :) Do all the wires that go to reset button, etc., have labels too? If not, definitely mark them with their function.. Bazza
