If the hard drive failed, look at getting a replacement hard drive.

You can remove the damaged hard drive and perhaps hook it up to another computer to see if you can grab files that you want to save.

What sort of disks came with the computer? Did you create any rescue disks? Do you have a recent image? If you have an image, what program did you use to create it?

Hard drive I'm sure is fried! I have tried to boot computer normally and repair mode. Nothing is working.
If I have to buy a new hard drive wouldn't it b better to just buy a new laptop?
Idk what you mean by image? And I can not get any of the disc to run........windows is not starting up at ALL. Thanks for you help and advise. : )
