Hey guys , i recently got this problem where if i open any program that uses internet (steam, internet explorer, opera, google chrome) my computer totally freezes , (the mouse even freezes) and i cant do anything i cant even open task manager. I think i have partially figured out the problem but i need to give you a brief history on what i did before this all happened. Ok so basically i had hamachi installed so i can play minecraft online (hamachi has been here for 1 month) hamachi had made a new network on my pc (i mean when i click on the internet icon i can see another network for hamachi), recently today i installed a program called antimedia bandwidth viewer ( i wanted to see who was lagging me all the time in my house) right after i installed it ALL the problems happened) but me , (like an idiot) i didnt properly uninstall it , i just deleted the antimedia folder in //C and everything related to it. Now if i try to uninstall it i get a error its not found etc... But i have found an 'temporary solution' if i disable my hamachi network everything is fine (this is how im posting this thread right now) but i really want everything to go back like it was where i can open my hamachi server without everything freezen. I am currently running a malware scan because i think the program was malware infected , anyhelp would be greatly appreciated!:)

Have you tried doing a system restore to before you downloaded that program?

If everything works when you disable the hamachi server, then this is a software issue, not a malware issue.

Oh , i guess im in the wrong section then thank you for your help man , but do you have any idea how this is fixed ? if not should i post this in the software section ? ty . Btw i think you misunderstood what i meant by the hamachi server , i mean another network was created after running hamachi on my pc.

Yes, you should approach this in the software forum. ;)
