    Hi.

My computer freezes after 30min - 2 hours after starting it up.
I can't click on anything, and my keyboard doesn't work. I have to hold down the shutdown button.

I can put my computer to "sleep" and then start it up without it freezing.

I have scanned my computer with: Avast free, Malware bytes and Super anti spyware. (Found nothing)

I also tried reinstalling windows, still no luck.

I really don't know what to do.

    Can you help me?

You did not mention: brand and model of computer, what version of windows is running and how long this has been happening. How old is the computer?
Are the keyboard and mouse USB devices? Have you run tests on the RAM? Have you scanned the hd?

    I'm running windows 7 64-bit.

My computer is a Acer Aspire M5300.

I'm not sure how long it has been going on, but would guess 1-1½ year.

Both mouse and keyboard is USB devices.

I have asked this question before somewhere, i ran some test with some programs but i don't remember the names of them or the result.
