Computer froze, won't start

A few days ago my computer froze up while I was playing a game (it was an old and not very intensive game). I tried all the keyboard commands I could think of and the power switch, but nothing worked so I pulled the plug. Now there's no response when I try to power it up. I looked inside and saw no obvious loose or fried connections, and there was no smell or noise before it froze.

My computer is a iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 925i with a GTX 460. This is the first problem I've had with it since getting it last May.

P.S. If I'm right in thinking that I need a new PSU would this suit my needs?

 

My guess would be either PSU or Motherboard.

I cant find any reference to what PSU is in your PC but I would think 650W is enough. I am not familiar with Ultra PSUs so I will let others comment on them for reliability.

Personally I would choose from Corsair, OCZ, Antec and Cooler Master. Corsair and OCZ be prefered.

The eXtreme Power supply calculator is a tool which will give an idea of what power you might need, but don't depend on it's results, it will only give you an idea; look at the rated currents for each rail an see if they are what you need.
