computer has been taken over

    Hey,

    My homepage has been hijacked to a page called http://www.securitybulletin.net/, also i have a flashing icon on the lower right near the time that pops up and says I have a virus. When I click it it goes to http://www.spywarequake.com/?aff=252. Unknown bookmarks are also poping up along with porn site pop ups. I never go to these sites. But did go to a hacking site by mistake when looking for a activation code. I followed the steps you advised and ran all the software spybot adware and the rest but still get same problem. attached is hijack this log. Any help would be great

    Please do not post HijackThis logs without having run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    If you are having SpywareQuake issues, it is also covered in another sticky thread which you also should have read and run:

    You do have more problems that SpywareQuake and you will need to run the READ & RUN ME too.
