can anyone help me? We opened an email last night supposedly from our ISP regarding our account. The email had a zip file which we were stupid enough to open. Since then, programs (ABI networks) have been installing themselves on our pc, ctrl-alt-dlt didn't work, msconfig wouldn't open, and couldn't open norton av.

We have gone in safe mode and worked msconfig, did registry mechanic, adaware and spybot. But we still get the pop-ups and get back to normal. Ran hijack this in safe mode (wouldn't work in normal mode) but it's all greek to me.

Anyone have insight to what happened and how I can fix our PC?

    thanks
