    Recently my computer's been freezing up on a frequent basis and the screen flickering while I try to play games and such. I did the sticky thread and ran all of the scans- the only one seeming to find anything being pandascan. Will post all of the following needed files in two posts. Thanks so much for help in advance.

    BTW: I ran bitdefender, and it didn't find anything. Unfortunately I exited out of it before saving the file X.x let me know if you'd like me to run it again. I'll post everything else I have.

    aaand the rest of the files I have...also, counterspy found nothing as well. I've run it twice, was a moron and forgot to take the log for it. Let me know if you need it. Thanks again.

    I am not seeing anything critical in your logs. This is probably not a malware issue. It is more likely a hardware issue.

    However:
    What are all these (there are scads of them on the drive):
    C:\006e49824c4c937694
    C:\00A864~1
    C:\038AD9~1
    C:\03EDA8~1
    C:\0BB790~1
    C:\0C3AC8~1
    C:\0C5BCD~1
    C:\0CBF60~1
    C:\126BEF~1
    C:\157022~1
    and on and on....

    Use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10"
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11"
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
    Reboot and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Please copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

    Use windows explorer to delete this:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\EF1AABA386.sys

    Now attach new logs for:

    * GetRunKey
    * ShowNew
    * HJT

    They are from failed/incomplete Windows Updates.

    This may be related to DivX. You should check to see if it is!

    Alright, deleted the files you told me to, installed new java, ran the new scans. I'm not sure how to make the failed windows installments go away or what they're from- they don't come up on my desktop computer, only my laptop. Thanks so much.

    Your logs are clean ..you can uninstall anything we asked you to download ....I would suggest that if you continue to have problems ...you should post in the hardware section as this could be a driver conflict or it may have to do with your graphics card.
