Computer is sluggish lately

Ok, took me forever to scan in safe mode, but I got everything done on the READ & RUN ME FIRST thread. Panda ActiveScan displayed zeros all the way down on both sides, and I couldn't find any scan results button. If it was on a pop-up, it probably got blocked, as I was having trouble starting the scan in the first place (I had to open the pop-up and quickly grab it's http address before it closed and open it in a new window).
Everything in the F:\ drive on BitDefender's scan is on a CD, which is removed now. It also snipped a couple of my PSX CD images (oh well).

The main thing is recently my computer has been slowing down. It takes longer to open stuff that use to take a minimal amount of time to open. Winamp's output slows down and makes popping noises when this happens. This usually happens when I get my CPU usage to a high rate (85%-95%, 100% usually starts skipping or just stops output). Also, my FireFox seems to be sucking a lot more Mem Usage then I recall it doing before. This happens when I leave it running for extended amounts of time (overnight or over the weekend). When this happens, should I just restart it?

Next post contains HJT scan results.

    Do the reports show nothing?

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Your logs do not show any signs of malware. Thus your problems may just be due to the programs (games???) that you are running. I will have you run one more tool below to check for rootkits, but I don't expect to find any.

Why is your CPU usage running that high. What is using all the CPU time? Is it a game???

    Download Blacklight Beta
    • Download blbeta.exe and save it to the Desktop.
    • Once saved... double click blbeta.exe to install the program.
    • Click accept agreement and Click scan
This app too may fire off a warning from antivirus. Let the driver load.
      Wait for it to finish.
    • If it displays any items...don't do anything with them yet. Just hit exit (close)
    • It will drop a log on Desktop that starts with fsbl....big number
Please post contents of the BlackLight log.

I'm seeing that he only time CPU usage gets that high is when a program stalls, or one of my various malware scanners is going. False alarm I guess.

Yes this sounds like you have other non-malware issues. Programs should not "stall".
