computer keeps rebooting

Hi! Im new so hope I am posting this properly. You all come well recommended so I hope you can help me with my PC problem. I think I downloaded some malware/spyware/virus to my pc when downloading some music. I read thru your form responses to similar situations but I can't do any of the suggestions because my pc keeps rebooting when I try to run some of the clean up links you provide. I turned off the restart so now I get the blue screen and it says "a driver has overrun a stack-based buffer: this overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this machine.....". I have tried to run NORTON, spybot-search and destroy but it reboots when I try to clean it up. I have also tried to do system recovery but it reboots.
I hope you all can help me.

 

Hi Tim! Thank you for your reply. Actually this site is so awesome that I just kept reading after I posted my problem in this forum that I found the solution and now my computer is fixed. I actually was able to clean up all that malware/spyware and virus with http://www.eset.eu/online-scanner! It actually removed all that stuff so that it stopped rebooting and I could run my norton scan to clean it all up and it is working great again!!! Wow you all saved me some big bucks with this form! I am telling everyone about you guys! can't believe you do this for free!! thank you majorgeeks thank you!

Great your computer is working better! If you want a more thorough check as to whether all the malware is gone, please go through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the requested logs. This will allow us to see if there are any files that were missed by the scanners that need to be removed manually.
