computer lag question

    is it normal for lag to occur when switching between windows in windows xp? it occassionally happens to me.

    Depends on the computer and what the windows are. Switching between normal windows shouldn't lag if you have a computer that meets windows XP requirements.

    You'll probably have to give more detail: Are you browsing the internet when this happens? Are you switching between users? Are you merely switching in Explorer, and it lags? How long a lag, a few seconds, or 15 seconds, half a minute, what? What processor to you have, and how much RAM? What video card are you running?
    Questions, questions, questions! :)

    I have two 3.0 gighertz processors and 1 gig of ram. the lag usually occurs when I'm running multiple applications. however, the applications always run at the right speed; there's just lag when switching between windows. oh yeah, the lag is usualy small: one to two seconds.
