Over the last couple days, I've been having a problem with my computer locking up. Can't Alt+Tab, CTRL+ALT+Delete, etc. I have to do a hard shutdown, and reboot. There hasn't been any recent downloads that I can think of that is causing it. The vid card idles at about 50c and never gets hotter than 68. CPU idles at 34-35c, and I don't remember seeing it higher than 50'ish.

Not sure what info you might need to help me, but I'd be happy to get you what I can. I've attached a copy of an idle scan from CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro, and I can get any other data you might need.

Thank you in advance for the help.

the only two things, off the top of my head, that "might" cause this could be bad electricity or bad memory.

    memory is easy to test:

the best way to insure good electricity is to plug the computer into a backup UPS [ uninterruptable power supply ].
power fluctuations can cause all sorts of computer errors.

    good luck with it.
