computer locks up

    I followed Chaslangs read and run me first and the instructions for downloading, installing and running HJT. I am attaching three of the logs here. I'll post another to add the remaining logs. Please take a look at these and tell me how to fix this thing. The computer locks up almost every time it is used and requires a hard boot to kill. Unfortunatly, I could not get the scans to run in Safe Mode (due to being a newbie I suppose). Thanks for the help.

    Welcome to Majrogeeks!
    Your lockup problems are probably not related to malware as you really don't have any major malware problems.

    Let's address a few other issues though.
    Did you knowingly install WeatherStudio Toolbar? And did you decide to not let CounterSpy fix it? It is considered Adware.

    Multiple scanners detected it as a problem.

    Okay now uninstall the Sunbelt CounterSpy trial since we are finished with it now! Then delete the below two folders left behind by the uninstall:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sunbelt Software
    C:\Program Files\Sunbelt Software

    Now uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
    SearchAssist <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME
    Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME

    Make sure you reboot after uninstalling the above!

    After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

    If you are still having lockup problems, you should post in the Software Forum. You should write a more detailed message explaining exactly when it happens. And if you get any error messages, post the exact message too.
