Okay, Whenever I would start up my computer, it would just reset right when it loaded up, and Safe Mode would only load a blank page. It was with Safe Mode with Command Prompt when I realized that it was due to the Explorer file always crashing seconds after it loaded. I'm really unsure of what to do. I have used AVG to scan and delete any problems as well as using HighJackThis on my own trying to delete any bad files on my own...but unfortunately I didn't do a good enough job apparently as it still will not start up...but it may not even have to do with the files it picks up...I'm just really unsure what to do, and in desperate need of some help...

Welcome to MajorGeeks.com, please follow our standard cleaning procedures:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifAfter doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below thread to properly use HijackThis and attach the log:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis
    • Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..
http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifWhen you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
    • CounterSpy Log - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
    • AVG Antispyware Log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
    • Bitdefender Log - from step 6
    • Panda Scan Log - from step 6
    • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
    • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
    • HijackThis Log
NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

Forgive me about the long delay in posting this reply, but I've been very busy recently...and I tried doing what was listed in those steps, and frankly, I had done everything I could do I think......

Right now, the computer has no access to the internet (I'm on a different one right now), so I installed CCleaner to a jumpdrive, sent it over to the broken computer, and tried using it. Got "Run time error '0' ". Tried using Safe Mode with networking, and the screen went blue with an error message. It's kinda long, so I'll just post the end part, which is what I think is the important part:

    Technical Information:

    *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0x81000078, 0x00000000, 0xF7C109BD, 0x00000002)

    *** Spooldr.sys - Address 0xF7C109BD base at F7C0F000, Datestamp at 469e788d

Also, I had previously run Spybot and AVG on the computer, but I did not save any logs from it. I do not think that they would be incredibly important right now though, all I really want to do right now is get explorer working.

(Also, it will not boot up normally, explorer will always crash, and the computer just goes black since I had previously turned off the restart feature in order to get the Blue Screen in order to view what was going wrong, but the Blue screen never even came)

On a working computer, download the utilties required, burn them to a disc or transfer them to a USB drive. Once you get them transferred over, run each of the scans and collect the required logs.

Once you have collected the logs, attach them to your next post.

Also, download these utilties/programs we will use during this fix.
