Hi, I'm hoping to get some help here for my computer. I've enjoyed the freebies here and the only reason my computer is running as well as it has is due to this site, thanks!

I'm on dial-up (sigh...) and I finally got the AVG but I'm still not able to install a lot of updates from microsoft. These are the things I'm not able to install...

"Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB953297)"

I've used the CCleaner, defrag, disk cleaner, AVG scans, MRU scans, Advanced System Care Scans. Since I'm on dial-up I used some type of gadget of my sister's to connect and get updates (that's how I got the AVG otherwise it would have taken me 10 hrs to download!). Still can't install the new downloads. I just have this little yellow thing at bottom of my screen saying it'll install but it won't for some reason that I have yet to understand. Any ideas?
