I have already read some stuff on this site but i still have yet to find an answer for my computer problems. I need a lot of help and any help offered would be majorly appreciated. First off my computer dosn't start in normal mode, once it gets past the welcome screen (if it does) it goes to the regular computer screen and then it freezes completely. The only mode(s) that currently work for me is Safe mode and Safe mode with Networking. I used Spyware Doctor to run a scan on my computer and it came up that i have 170 something infections most which includes 66 advertising cookies, 109 tracking cookies, 2 rouge anit-spyware products, 2 known bad sites, and 1 zango search assistant. My current operating system is Windows Vista Premium. Can someone please help me with my problem?

    Thank you for your time.

It says it's a browser cookie whatever that means.. And i clicked on the little check box thing and it lists both of them as __utmz .scanspyware.net and the other one is __utma .scanspyware.net

As for the the admin thing i'm the only one that uses the computer and i'm sure that's not the probley the reason why i can't start it up.

As I said in my last message cookies are not problems! However, if you have ScanSpyware installed, you should uninstall it because it has long been on the rogue tool list. If you are having malware problems (and I doubt your inability to boot is due to malware), you should run the READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support sticky thread and attach the requested logs. Note that support for Vista is somewhat limited at this time.

I did not ask you if you are the admin of the PC, I asked you if you disabled UAC. It has nothing to due with boot issues, but disabling it leaves you much more susceptable to malware problems and you are posting in the malware forum. Thus I wanted to know whether you disable it and made your system less secure.

Sorry it's tooken me so long to respond but i havn't been at my house in a while so i wasn't able to check for that stuff on my computer. When i looked at my programs i didn't have scan spyware installed and i didn't have the User Account Control disabled it was on the entire time.

Also i'm doing the Read and Run Me first support but i can't run counterspy, AVG anti-spyware or SuperAntispyware because it requires Windows Setup Wizard and i don't have that tool enabled since my computer is working in Safe Mode with Networking only. But i was able to download and i'm able to run Spybot Search and destroy.

You will need to pursue the inability to boot in Normal Mode in the Software Forum or with the company you bought your PC from. I'm assuming it is a new PC that came with Windows Preinstalled. If it is PC you upgraded to Vista, make sure you say that in the Software Forum and also indicate what you upgraded from. Also when you upgraded, was the PC working okay and was it free from malware.
