hi my computer started acting up when it would not boot in normal mode. It would boot in Safe Mode. I ran malwarebytes in safe mode and then restarted and it booted in normal mode. I ran the scans you have asked me to run except for root repeal...it won't run. It says an error. Computer is now booting in normal mode, I just wanted you to check my scans to see if I am clean now. thanks so much!

I am not seeing any malware in your logs. We can clean up a few things with HJT:

Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Tell me what issues are remaining, if any.

I thought it was working better, but it's still having problems starting in normal mode. I had to use restore disk and do system restore to get it to start in normal mode. After restoring, it started in normal mode. Then I restarted it and it would only start in safe mode. I clicked for it to start on "last known good configuration" and it started again in normal mode. I haven't turned it off since then. I'm afraid I may have to reinstall Windows or something. Hopefully not b/c I have so many programs and stuff on here. Hope you have some advice :)

I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance. If you have your OS CD, you can try doing a repair install, which will keep all your files and data.
However, if you did a restore, you need to rerun SAS and MBAM to be sure you didn't restore to a place that had malware.
