   For no apparent reason the computer restarts itself randomly. Computer runs XP Home

   Other than the empty logs that you attached, there is no sign of malware in the rest of the logs.
   Restarting issues can be hardware or software problems ....ram, overheating, software conflicts, etc. I suggest you post in the software or hardware sections.
