Computer Recovery

    My computer crashed when my daughter used it to watch a DVD movie. It skipped, so she tried turning the computer off to re-start, and now it comes up to a page that says "VAIO Recovery Center".
    I have tried the suggested programs, but cannot get past this screen- is there any hope?

    take the dvd movie out.restart the comp and hit f8 button few times then youll see a page go to the last known good configuration. hope this helps for you.
