Computer screne problem

Generally all you would do is to hit the Insert Key on your keyboard to toggle from Insert to Overtype modes, however the vertical cursor size stays the same, which is what I would guess is what you dont want, so to that end, in what context are you using the cursor is it in WordProcessor, Internet etc if you can narrow down the application that you need to change this, there maybe an option or not as some dont have option to change cursor size.

Dependent on Windows version used you could try in Control Panel > Accessablity Options > Display Tab and change the thickness of the cursor.
