Ok, I cannot figure this out. My computer just a few days ago started turning off like someone pulled the plug when playing games such as csGO, Rift etc. I have run tests with furmark, monitored temps with fanspeed and EVGA Precision. Temperature is not causing these shutdowns. The latest was on Rift with high graphic settings. GPU temp didnt get above 52c and both cores didnt get above 38c. I uninstalled ALL drivers for my GPU and installed drivers that I know are stable because....well i used them with no problems. I tried a system restore as well earlier this morning. Im at ends. My last thought I can muster is a failing PSU. Any help is highly appreciated. :cry

    Hi

I note you mention Rift on a high gfx setting and that causes the shutdown, if you have the game on a lower gfx setting does the same happen?

Also disable any background running applications such as anti-virus/malware and even use msconfig to disable all startups to test.
