Computer slow/icons not responding....other weird stuff

This is my first posting, although I have been lurking for a few weeks. My computer is acting weird and I have tried all the steps (in order--not skipping) for malware removal and while that fixed a few of the problems, new ones keep popping up. Currently, my computer is EXTREMELY slow---clicking on an icon can take up to 10 minutes for it to finally start. Also, programs will shut down suddenly. When I started it up the first time today, i could only see half of the screen--it was like someone had pushed the desktop to the right and the rest was black. It went back to normal when I restarted it again. Here is my Hijackthis file:
