Computer Stuck on Update!!!

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I was re-booting my computer and an update screen came up. It says its installing update 3 of 3. This has been going on for over three hours. What can I do? It says don't power off or unplug your machine. I don't want to mess anything up, but there is obviously something wrong. It doesn't take three hours to install one update.
    Please Help!
