   My computer has been slowand stops to think for long periods of time. It probably started around a month ago when I downloaded videos from megaupload and clicked a few close buttons in streaming video frames or popups. Thanks!

   At an absolute minimum, you need double your RAM to 1 GB; however with your slower/older processor, 2 to 3 GB would be a much better idea.
