Computer will not load in safe mode

I need some help in a hurry! I had some malware pop up yesterday and ran the Super Antispyware. Now after rebooting, my computer will not load and I have a college assignment to hand in that is on my computer!
When the computer boots up (XP), everything looks normal. The welcome screen appears to select user account, you click on the acount, it says "loading your personal settings", the goes right to "saving your settings" and will not go any further.
Thoughs?

 

Thank you. Yes, this happens in safe mode as well.

 

Does it do it from every account in safe mode or just yours?

 

This happens on all user accounts. I had a virus/malware pop up on my desktop saying that "I was infected", ran the SuperAntispyware, restarted and no luck logging on or fully booting the system.

 

Two questions:

- What do you do if you can not find the Windows disc that came with the
system?

- What are the chances this will delete content from the computer?

Are there instructions on here that walks you through "slaving" from a laptop?
Is this advisable if you are using a work laptop? Or could the issue also infect this computer?
